A once-promising Colts season that included a 7-1 start, has ended without a postseason berth, sparked by a historic late-season collapse.

It wasn't C.J. Stroud, Dalton Schultz, Woody Marks or Jayden Higgins who scored a touchdown on the final play of the Houston Texans' 38-30 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

The Texans secured their third straight postseason berth with a win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Dec. 27 that eliminated the Colts from playoff contention. Houston has won eight straight games to become the fifth team since 1990 to make the playoffs after opening a season 0-3 and first to do it twice.

The Houston Texans have rattled off nine straight wins to secure a 12-win season and a playoff bid following a victory over the Colts.
